Titanic

Last night, I watched the classic old movie Titanic. It is very famous all over the world, so as soon as you see my title, you would be a little depressed. But in this blog, my focus is not on the beautiful love story between Rose and Jack, I actually want to talk about some details in the movie which is not that obvious and give some my own opinion.
Rose, the heroine, is a girl born in a high class family compared to Jack, the poor guy. She was carefully brought up and strictly taught since she was a little girl. She behave gracefully and she is a lady in other people's eyes, which is exactly what her family hoped for. But deep inside, she is a rebellous person with her strong personal opinion of her own towards everything in her life. She hates the sophisticated manners she should be aware of whenever or wherever she is as a lady. Each inch of her body shouts desperately for true freedom and independent. I think she is a girl with advanced thoughts born pethaticly in the wrong time and society. I have something in common with her deep inside and I really understand and appreciate her. I thhink highly of her bravery when it comes to fighting for her freedom in love. She does not see Jack's social status, which is precious at that time, even today. I think she really worth our praise. The sad but beautiful love legend should go on and on!
That is my point of view in this classsical movie. I was also deeply impressed by the musicians on board when the ship started to sink into the deep ocean. They sacrificed themself to thousands of passengers who actually did not hear their music. But they did a great job. The selfless behaviour is worth our respect and should also be praised. Their story will go on. The picture of them playing music calmly will never fade away on our minds.

  1. I never watch this movie completely before, but I have watched part of this movie. It once is the most popular movie in the world, then it was beaten by Avatar---another movie produced by Jamous.

  2. I like this sentence most "Each inch of her body shouts desperately for true freedom and independent". It reflects that you are starting wrinting with rhetoric skills. Keep improving!
