Recently, we came to art museum to admire
the masterpieces as well as reduce the pressure caused by the progress test. To
be frank, I have visited a sea of museums, which range from Louvre to small
school museum, but I still cannot understand many pieces of works. Maybe that
is because of my lack of talent in art. However, although I cannot appreciate
most of exhibitions in the museum, I quite understand the perspiration behind
every work. Even a work that is composed by some simple lines cost the artist
several months, or years to think and create.
Take Dr. Wu’ works for example, his works
are respected principally for his uncomplicated drawing as well as delicate construction.
In our opinion, they are just drawn casually and take no much effort. However, as
my uncle is an art university graduate, I leant that a simple art work may cost
incalculable time and perspiration. Therefore, when I looked at the numerous
works in the museum, I was influenced in my mind by the invisible effort behind
them; moreover, I started to appreciate the simple work in our daily life.
In conclusion, I learnt that we need to
know that everything is not easy, and we should admire the simple, common
things around us.
You`re a very lucky person to have visited the Louvre. However it`s a pity you were not able to appreciate the works there. Artists have a special way to express their thoughts and emotions. It`s not so much the effort behind each piece of work but the way they capture their impressions on canvas or other medium that is to be admired. It takes time and maturity to be able to appreciate art. Perhaps one day you`ll be able to understand works of art better.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, I am also a person who have not much art cells. I think for me, what I should do is just respecting the opuses and the artists. I also hope I can visit Louvre one day.
ReplyDeleteI have never been fascinated by pictures, but I am always addicted to music. I even want to organise my rock band
