At the End
At the end of our English course, I am a little excited and regretful. I am excited because our university life which we expected for nearly a year is finally drawing close. We grew up through the bridging course in a new place. We knew ourselves better during this time and think more about our dream calmly. Furthermore, we owned many joyful memories with our new friends. The friendships enable us to forget the pain of leaving home; we can count on our new friends when we are depressed. On the other hand, I also feel regretful since I have not hit the target I set for myself yet. Before the bridging course I hoped I could be proficient in English now that it would take half of year. However, I do not have such an obvious advancement via the English classes; there are still some obstacles when using English. The reasons are as follows. I was so lazy sometimes that I just indulged myself to relax. In addition, the expectation in the beginning is too high, so it is not easy to be content with the progress. Anyhow, I am still persevering in learning English every day. I founded that using English as a tool boldly is the most efficient way. This Thursday, Qizhong let us write a feedback evaluation of our performance during the English course. Only then did I realize that it is time for me to analyze my level in English in order to improve more. Bridging course is just a start of our learning journey in NUS; I am elated to welcome my new life soon.

Yes, I still remember a sentence in middle school textbook"Time goes by, and good friendship may lose."Maybe it is time to say good-bye, but I do not think it can break our friendship. After all, we still study in the same school.
ReplyDeleteEnglish bridging course is destinied to be part of our precious memories. More than knoledge, I think we gain a number of friends.
ReplyDeleteThe time to part is also the time to start. Our new journey is coming. It is worth our anticipation. :)
I quite agree with you on "Bridging course is just a start of our learning journey in NUS". Even high target will be achieved someday, if you insist on.
ReplyDeleteBridging course is coming to the end. Maybe you think that you did not gain much through it. However, it is fact that all of us pick up some new knowledge, no matter tiny or big. Bridging is merely a start of our study in another country. We have to keep up and improve ourselves in the following days.
ReplyDeleteI also have the same feeling as you. Our university is around the corner, which I have aspired for long. However, our whole class will get seperated in two weeks, this is the end of our bridging course, and I will miss you.
