Personality

At last, a weekly theme that is able to make me say something about it comes---personality. No doubt, this theme makes me think of the assessment we took several weeks ago---the DISC test. I personally think it is pretty precise. Let me talk about my result. I am a person of "D" type, pure D. According to what the expert said, this kind of person is very rare, there are only 3% of all the people in the world who belong to this kind. D stands for dominant, which means people like me want to dominate everything. It is kind of true. In China, during our holiday, we have to do a small project, I say small because it is nothing like what we are doing now, it is not a research project, we just copy something from the Internet regardless of the copyright because we know actually nobody will read it. However, it will take days to finish it so a lot of students do not bother to do it and when the deadline is approaching, they join other people's group to get a mark. What about me? I do it alone, because I do not allow others tamper my job. I always get a high mark, so I think the result "D" is very precise. Some people will think that the type of me will affect my work related to to research project because we have to work as a team to finish it. What I want to explain is, I can control myself, which means I will never try to dominate what I ain't supposed to dominate or what I do not have the capability to dominate. You can ask my teammates about our relationship, we are getting on very well with each other, and I think that is the purpose of the DISC test---know who you are, then, use apt ways to do the right things.

  1. Hi, Mr.D.^^
It's an interesting test. However, I'm not sure whether it's really authentic. I'm S&I..But i appear as I more than S. Well.. Perhaps everyone is so different and hard to classify.

  2. It is good for you that you can control yourself as a "D".
My results are C and S. I thought it was percise, but others don't think S correspound with my personality.

  3. I also got a D. I think we should not pay much attention to it. Not all the theories are accurate one hundred percent. And I want to say that suppose you are really a "D" kind of person, it is not what makes you ashamed. Just be yourself.

  4. I also think the text is very precice, because I am really and totally a high C girl. I think though being a Mr.D will make people felt stress sometimes, finishing the work as soon as possible is waht I like. However, I admire you, because, we both like to do so, but I am very lazy, in other words, my flesh just can't follow my mind.

  5. Well, the DISC test influence me a lot. I am a girl between S and I, but the S is higher than the I. I know the true myself, and I am far away from D. I feel stressoed to finish our project, you know? What I want now is just that we can achieve our research sucessfully.

  6. "we just copy something from the Internet regardless of the copyright because we know actually nobody will read it."

The second part of that sentence sounds a lot like academia to me!
