Lost
Yesterday, some friends and I went to see a theatre acted by Zhang Junzhe and some seniors. It was about some different degrees of people living in city. They gradually lost themselves because of money, right, reputation as well as love. In order to get profit, they could do some things basing on sacrificing others. However, at last, the people who did it got nothing except deaths.
In my opinion, all of us have the right to chase some things we like, but we should not damage other people's profits. Perhaps there can be some small benefits now when you do some bad things for others, there can also be one day you are repaid. Never think that no one can know what you do even if you think you have done it secretly, everything can be clear as time goes by. Maybe sometimes people can not know it immediately, there can be one day everyone learn about it.
We have the right to chase for benefits, but if our lives are filled with benefits, we can lose a lot of fun in our lives. Though benefit is important for all of us, we should not lose ourselves. Dignity is always the most important thing for us.
By the way, you go to the cinema to see a show, you don`t "see a theatre". At the theatre, you could watch a play, a musical, and so on.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely agree that it`s not right to benefit or prosper at the expense of others. We all have a conscience that we need to listen. Good values are what we must acquire, not just material things.
Sometimes it requires a lot of efforts to say no to the temptation, but we should always remind us to be faithful to our heart.
ReplyDeleteWe live in a world that almost everyone chases for benefits. There is no right or wrong, it is just because the society needs us to do so, and we just follow the calling. At now, I quite agree with you that we cannnot live for money. However, considering what I will be like in 20 years, I do not know whether I can still stick to this philosophy. What a pity, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteIt is true enough that a lot of people pay what they value most such as friends or family to gain money and reputation. But after they get what they want, they find that they are lost.So i think we need belief. No matter how much money we desire, we should keep in mind what we cherish most.Until now i still believe spiritual fortune is my permanent treasure.
