Learning from the personality test

After the result of the DISC test coming out, I was a little confused by it. It showed that when I am in public, my type is “I”, which stands for influence; but when I am under pressure, my type turns into “S”, which stands for steadiness. Weird as it seemed, I wondered whether I had suffered from schizophrenia. Ha-ha! Luckily, I found several “companions”. However, after the speech I contemplated for quite a while, and finally came up with two conclusions.
It is natural that some people are accustomed to switching their personalities in different occasions. I am the one of them. They perform gregarious and sociable when they are relaxed in a casual occasion. Do not be surprised if you see them being serious and reserved while they are working. Actually, performing appropriately in any occasion by intuition is much easier than pretending like that.
I also learnt that people’s personality can be changed, especially in adolescence. Hence if one is not satisfied about his personality, he can shape it deliberately. For instance, if you think you are not assertive enough, you should try to force yourself to be a leader to dominate others as well as make some big decisions. In addition, some accidents or environmental factors also can alter one’s personality; like a successful speech enable a person to be more talkable. To some extent, a complicated personality may means one is just changing his personality at this time.
I have almost known my own traits now, which help me perfect my personality better in the following days. Personality is also a tool that I can resort to know another better.

To an individual, personality is really important and can be changeable. Though it is a hard process, it is still possible for every one.
