The first checkpoint

Struggling out of our beds, we felt exhausted both in physics and mentality; because we would have our first checkpoint today and we had to get up early in Saturday. It was a kind of suffering actually. Furthermore, we had been warned that if we could not pass the exams, we would receive a warning letter; and the collection of two warning letters could be used to exchange a single air ticket for return to Chinese (That sounds quite scared actually). That was why all of us took this exam quite serious- all of my roommates stayed in our room, preparing for the coming exam until midnight yesterday.
Today the C programming test was a little tough for me, and some of my roommates were also not so optimistic about the outcome of the test; however it was definitely easy for those guys who had learnt the C programming before. As for the mathematics test, it was not so difficult, but I just hated the complex calculation in the test. If you wanted to ask me whether I was confident about the result, I just could not give you a precise answer. Who knows?
Looking back, I don’t think I was wasting my time in these three months, and no matter what the result will be, I will accept it with happiness. Also, I hope I can do better in my future.

  1. I didn't think I did well in the exam, but anyway, have some faith, there is a saying in China, who laughs last laughs most beautiful, once we make efforts to study C, we can do well some day.

  2. I think, as long as we are not to be expelled from this country which we, at least, i, used to try my best to enter, it is good enough. I do not think it wise to be sad after a exam. I prefer to be so beforehead. There is a Chinese idiom which means "sad soliders triumph", haha

  3. As someone said,"Check-point is students' life." I'm very afraid of my math after the text. But now I don't want to think about it. After I finish the text, the mark is not what I can decide. So nice~

  4. Totally agree with you, I felt so tired that I cannot do my best in the first checkpoint. The only thing I wanted to do in the checkpoint was finishing the papers as soon as possible and then sleeping. Just as you say, no matter how terrible the results would be, we should always be happy.

  5. It has passed now. If you have a look at our schedule, you will find that...there is so many tests in the future...what we can do now is just to accept them. they make us stronger and stable.

  6. It is always interesting to me how anticlimatic the moment after the exams feels. You'd expect to be really happy or relieved; but like what Luo Wei says, I usually just think of sleeping.
