First and foremost, I need to state that this blog is likely to be a boring one, so do not be tricked easily by the topic. I tried hard to write a blog which has something related to this week’s topic—physical anthropology and finished it ultimately.
Tuesday afternoon, we conducted a debated among the whole class, arguing about whether human beings are descended from apes or not. Though we have the Darwin theory and the natural selection theory, we cannot prove that apes are our ancestors, no matter how similar the gene we and apes have. However, it is absolutely true that the process from our ancestors to human beings now belongs to species evolution. How we evolved from the very beginning after a tremendous period of time? Have you ever observed the growth of a normal human being? Take us as examples, when we were young, we started to learn some simple characters and arithmetic calculations whose formulation had been built thousand years ago. That means most of the subsequent theories and rules are based on the former ones. It is the inheritance we have received from ancestors’ that wheels the evolution into a better situation. We should pay more attention to the process, not ignoring the significance of inheritance of fortune from older generations. If we take it into consideration, then there will not have so many cases like that traditions, languages or specific cultures lose its power and successors .
Whatever, we are human. We are the chosen one. We have to keep on going and make our lives to the full.
