A big earthquake hit Fukushima , Japan on March 11, which caused a tsunami and a nuclear blast To my astonishment, some Chinese even seem happy and laugh at Japanese. As we all know, Japanese invaded some Asian countries and killed a large number of Chinese people without mercy. However, I feel ashamed about these numb laughers. In my opinion, no matter how bad villainies the Japanese army did seventy years ago, contemporary civilians are guiltless. In addition, in the face of disasters, nationality is not important. Every human being from every country has the same right to live.
Another noticeable thing is that some warning SMSs are spreading recently. A well known one is that “If it rains today or the nest few days, DO NOT GO UNDER THE RAIN even if it’s only a drizzle. Radioactive particles, which may cause burns, alopecia or even cancer, may be in the rain.” In the beginning, every one believed it. However, this kind of warnings is NOT TRUE. No official media report such news. On contrast, Singapore is far away from Japan . Nuclear pollution cannot impact our health from so long a distance. We should be calm and not too panic of it. Just pray for those Japanese victims and homeless people. I believe they can get over it soon.
Past is past. Even though it is a truth that Japan invaded other countries seventy years ago, we should not hate this Japanese generation. The war is nothing to do with them. Instead of being happy, we are supposed to try our best to help them. As for the nuclear blast, I think we should be careful.
ReplyDeleteWell,I suppose we should remember the history deeply, but it doesn't means hatred will be kept in our mind forever. Civilians are innocence.More, I reckon we should not say it is a disaster, because the nature has given a lot to us, this earthquake is an additional challenge. We should face it,fight with it instead of complain.
