Ordinary and Happy
I thank my body, even if it is bloated, I can travel around the world; thank my nose, even if it is the collapsed one, but also I can breathe fresh air; thank my eyes, even if they are small, then squint, I can see sunrise, sunset, flowers and flowers bloom. Thanks that the sun raises again, to light my dreams; thank those days which made me sad, I know that happiness is not far away from me.
- McDull
McDull, a fat, foolish pig, taught me the most beautiful wisdom in the world: a pure heart like a crystal is the secret of happiness.
Everyone usually wants to own a good congenital countenance. A beautiful girl or a handsome boy seems to attract everyone’s attention and become bright and absorbing. However, are these people really happy? Compared some pretty cartoon characters, I like this pig. He is ordinary, a little silly, even a little ugly, but he is positive and always full of hope. No matter you are ordinary or brilliant, everyone own the right of enjoying the life.
This reminds me of the < Jane Eyre >. Jane was also a very ordinary girl, but her mind, her enthusiasm, her kindness, helped her to win a pure heart. “Do you think, because I am poor, obscure, plain, and little, I am soulless and heartless? You think wrong! — I have as much soul as you, — and full as much heart! And if God had gifted me with some beauty and much wealth, I should have made it as hard for you to leave me, as it is now for me to leave you. I am not talking to you now through the medium of custom, conventionalities, nor even of mortal flesh.” These words are filled with the spirit of independence, freedom and dignity. We cannot choose our appearance, while we can choose the heart, the soul.
To conclude, happiness as nothing to do with appearance, it lies on your heart and your mind.
First, I can tell you REALLY enjoyed changing the characters into different appearances...and I appreciate your opinion---happiness has nothing to do with the appearance---a lot. Though I do not think a lot of people can carry it out...we still have to change the impressions we have lain on others by our appearances.
ReplyDeleteYour fonts are so cute!~Just like the little pig McDull..haha..I like his words...They tell us the simple truth of life.
ReplyDeleteMcdull is my cup of tea.hehe...I looks stupid sometimes but I still cannot stop loving him.He cannot be more ordinary in terms of countenance. However, such a little pig in this big world, pure, simple, optimistic,is the really special treasure. The life axiom sometimes lies in simplicity.
ReplyDeleteActually I like this cute character very much, because Mcdull is naive and optimistic, which I admire quite a lot. From his story, we can learn a lot including his optimism and simple lifestyle.
ReplyDeleteIf all the people in the world become Mcdull who is a naive and optimistic pig, the world will be better? I don't know. Well, I just making a funny imagine. Actually,I'm very appreciate Mcdull's spirit, but as Wang Hao said, how many people can carry it out?
ReplyDeleteI like how you changed the font to create moods and perspectives of different characters. Nice!
