My Ancestor
After the recess week, comes the new start of the second part of the bridging course. The recess week is really a charm; I can sleep like I used to again, which means I can sleep more than ten hours per day, usually from 2am to 12am or so. Since I haven't talked about the weekly theme for a long time...well...it seems that I have never talked about our topic...anyway, the topic of this week has something to do with ancestors, I want to talk about something interesting related to my ancestor. Do you all really know where do you come from? I mean do you know where your family is 1000 years ago? Some of us may think the hometown of our grandfather is the answer, but I don't think so. I even don't think there is a way in which we can find out the answer to this question, as I have once said, I hate history. However, recently, I found some clues that may show the "source" of me. When I was making a phone call with my teacher of my senior middle school, I asked if there was something amusing, she said she had read an passage, which said people whose toenail has a tiny "branch" at the edge has a Mongolian ancestor. What's more, according to my grandfather, the place where my great-great-grandfather had lived was only 20 kilometers away from Mongolia. As a result, I currently think maybe my ancestor is a Mongolian ape! This may not be true at all, but I think it is really a pleasure to try to find out a thing, isn't it? 1000years ago, where were you?

I really don't know where was I 1000 years ago. AND, I hate history, too. SO, refuse to feedback.............................
ReplyDeleteI really admire people who can sleep more than 10 hours a day. Sometimes, I want to try it too; but inevitably, I wake up within 6 hours (or less)...
