Human rights

Last week, we talked a lot about human rights. However, what satires was our own human rights was infringed totally- All of us had to copy the Eton hall handbook because some "black sheep" broke the rules such as the consumption of alcohol and playing games during the compulsory study time.

It's quite unfair for all of us to copy the handbook because it isn't our faults and there is no need for us well-behaved students to take responsiblity for those who broke the rules. What makes us more disappointed is the reason the chairman of Eton hall gave us.

"The world is unfair." he said casually.

I don't think this answer makes any sense. In my view, it's quite ridiculous to infringed our rights and then give us such a weak explanation. Also, most of my friends and classmate think the same, and they refuse to copy it just like what I do. Some of us even consider Eton hall to be Eton hell, so there is no doubt that the officers of Eton hall should consider it seriously and carefully.

In brief, everyone has his or her responsibility to make up his or her own mistakes, which cannot be taken by others.

  1. The reason he gave you is totally nonsense, but perhaps you could try to understand him cuz I think MOE had just given him a tongue-lashing.=)

  2. We get infringed, we get anger, we think, we do, we grow up. That is life. Everything must have a good side. Well, anger is necessary!

  3. "This world is unfair"

When he said this, he was probably just passing on the frustrations from his own life and experience. Well, this is somewhat true, but it is never a reason to justify further injustice.
