How far are we from human rights

Last week, we encounter a really unpleasant thing which we must copy the Eton Hall handbook for one time, since we all know about this so called “event”, I do not want to comment on it any more or even to mention it again. However, it actually reminded me that how far we are from human rights. Most of us at this age are already adults in China, but we are now studying in Singapore with the grown age of 21. I do agree what Zhu Yueyue uttered in her oral report last Wednesday afternoon, why we have to take the adult responsibility here without obtaining relevant rights. In fact, I am not a cynical person. From my perspective, we are not aware of our rights and responsibilities until we are hurt or cheated. When I was in high school on grade two, I heard about that senior students were gathered to hold a meeting to make their own promise for being 18 years old. They had rights for political elections. Though it will be a long way to defend our rights, we should make all efforts to achieve them.
