My attitude towards the media
I must admit that the media played a crucial role in our daily life. Every day, we know the world through the newspaper, the TV, the radio and the internet. In fact, we hardly live for one day without the media. Someone hate the media because of some bothersome people----such as newshound; other people pay attention to the media a lot for the media provide some important and necessary in formation to them. To me, the media is just a tool to begin a new day.Since I came here, I seldom watch TV program. Every morning, I will surf the internet to search some news about my hometown, my motherland or some events happened in Asia. If I am enough lucky, I will get some newspaper about Singapore. Only we use an impartial eye to see the media, and it does bring us a lot of benefits.
Let’s talk about the tsunami happened in Japan. When the disaster attack the poor country, the whole world knew the sad and horrible earthquake immediately and soon took a series of measures to assist Japan. Now most people are focusing on the media so that they can more about the situation in Japan now. Someone is worrying about the friends and relatives there; someone is anxious of the nucleus radiation. In a word, the whole world is looking at Japan with the help of the media.
In conclusion, I just want to tell you that one coin has two sides. If we do not do something wrong, please do not e afraid of the media.
Agree with you. The information provided by media does bring us convience. But on the other hand it also makes our life more complicated.
ReplyDeleteSofa~well,I must admit that I can't live without media.I mean, the life must not only contain basic material but also mental food. Choosing a better lifestyle is a hard thing full of wisdom.
ReplyDeleteI cannot deny that human may not be able to survive without media---the bridge between all the information. However, we should use the media in a right way, otherwise it will become a hazard to us all.
ReplyDeleteNow people can't imagine what life will be without media, however, I think it's also the one of the disadvantages of the media. It makes people dependent and we cannot do anything without the media. In my opinion, we should master the media well rather than letting it control us.

ReplyDeleteSince we are so reliant on certain forms of mass media as our main source of information, we'd better hope for responsible journalism and an accurate reporting of the facts! Press freedom is also a big issue in many countries - these are difficult issues for citizens in any country to consider.
