The culture tour of Singaporean foods

Throughout the Chinese New Year, I have many exceedingly pleasant experiences tasting various Singaporean foods. The first unforgettable thing is the pepper crabs eaten near the east coast. Crab is what I longed for since I came to Singapore. The moment I ate the crab filled with meat, I felt I got the pursued happiness. Then, it should be the pineapple pastry made by Moh Keng giving me an impulsion. The outside of it is soft and the inside is sweet, but the sweetness is not what may make you toothache. We picked another one after finished one, again and again. We did that because we knew the affection of the foods is the respect to the host, and more, we honestly adored it. Subsequently, I tasted the famous “yusheng” which is composed of salmon, carrot, ginger, lettuce, celery and some sweet sauce and jam. All of us stood around, used our chopsticks to raise the “yusheng” up while saying some auspicious wishes. Frankly speaking, the taste is agonizingly disgusted. However, it is a good Chinese New Year activity blessing for the future. I still ate more desserts and dishes which are unique in Singapore, and one of my New Year wish is that I would like to try more delicacies in Singapore!
