I am Lin Zhiyuan, an SM3 student. My topic is how I came to Singapore.
I’m not a hardworking boy as many friends of mine think. To be honest I am lazy and fond of playing some tricks in learning. So I started to learn physics Olympic while I was studying in Harbin NO.3 Middle School. I enjoyed being different from others very well at that time. Of course I won the 1st prize in province as I had wished. Before the National University Entrances Examination, I was admitted by Zhejiang University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. After a hard choice, I decided to give up these opportunities and to master future in my hand again. But I didn’t win the chance to enter Tsinghua University. I lost the battle for my self-conceit and careless in math and physics. Then I entered the Harbin Institute of Technology as my second choice. Then I am here in Singapore.
I feel sorry at times, but I never feel regrets for the happy time I spent with my friends in China, for I am still fighting for my future.

Thanks for your frank revelation of yourself.Whether experiences are good or bad,we still learn from them. What you`ve left behind are good memories--cherish these memories and move on. Never lose your self-confidence or self-esteem in negative situations. Be positive and take on life`s challenges with confidence.You have a bright future ahead.
