B1:Dear Diary

I like writing blog, but this is my first time to write a blog in English. The reason why I like it is that blog is a unlimited literary style, without demands of topic, word count, marks and so on(unfortunately, except for this one). Maybe some literaries aim to tell people academic knowledge, philosophy or anything else. But blog, whatever, just like diary where we can say what we want to say. So I print the title as “Dear Diary” what I do when I write my journal. To a certain extent,it’s like stream of consciousness. Put up your earphone, enjoy your writing.

All right, let me talk about my situation what I’m confusing recently. Seeing my mother’s Q-zone which is saying,”This winter is a little cold.”,my heart become colder. I know my mother’s “a little” doesn’t mean just a little. There is no denying that every mother will drop down her tear secretly when her daughter or son will go abroad for 10 years and can’t back home for 1 year. In the past, parents took me to school by car and help me bring my package then see me leave with a big smile;now,we must learn to be independent to do the tedious and annoying thing by ourselves. In the past,I can see my parents at least once a week;now, the only way I can see my parents is through the computer screen. In the past,I’m one of the top students in my school;now, I am a student falled behind others and have difficulties communicating with locals and doing academic. In the past…

Everything is changed. We can’t be the old we any more. Sometimes I asked myself repeatly,”Is it worthy to do this?” though my answer was very sure before I came to Singapore. Now,my answer is still very sure. If the God give me another chance to select again,I will do the same thing. Nothing is more important than to achieve your dream. It’s my dream to go abroad to study with full scholarship! I don’t know whethere I really deserve it,but I must grasp the gift the God gave me. Of course, when you get something, you lose something. That is life.

I like the philosophy the teacher tell us:you have a choice. Life is full of choices. If you can choose to be sad,you can be happy, too. If you can choose give up,you can choose to go on.If I can choose to regret,I can choose to be proud of myself.

Well, the way I stand seems to be a flexura but bright way. What we should do just go on walking, right?Sounds simple.

  2. Being the first one is a charm! In China we call it "sofa".
We are all the same, the state of confused will fade away and we will get used to the new surroundings sooner or later.
We are always be with each other.

  4. I think your mother will be proud of you.Actually,I suggest you make a call to your mother regularly and tell her some information about you. What's more, you need to work hard to let your mother be relieved.

  5. Your article reminds me of the day in Peking National Airport, our parents stood out of the security gate , and used napkin to cover their tears when our shadows disappear in the end of the corridor to the airplane . Study abroad is a real challenge for us , but we trust ourselves , we can make it a good way to help us succeed , right ? So come on , fight for your dream . You can give your parents more good news , they will be proud of you , and you will be proud of your self !!!

  6. Don't worry too much about the 'grades' for your blog entries; as long as you keep writing and keep improving on your previous posts, you will definitely do well.

We all have to leave our parents at some point of time. I am sure that your parents will be very proud of you and your new independence!

  7. I have in confidence in all of us and I believe you will be the best. We choose a way full of excitement and difficulties without the campany of family, and I think this experience will be an unforgetable part of our memories. Good luck for all of us.
